sẁiẁs Park is two kilometres south of Osoyoos off Highway 97 on 32nd Avenue. It is proudly managed and operated by the Osoyoos Indian Band.
The name sounds similar to “s-wee-yous” and refers to a shallow or narrow place in the lake.
What is there
- lakeside campsites;
- a day-use and picnic area;
- sandy beach;
- boat launch;
- flush toilets;
- interpretive and wildlife-viewing opportunities.
The park has 41 vehicle-accessible campsites, including seven double sites. Reservations are strongly recommended during summer weekends and throughout July and August.
The boat launch remains open year-round. Boaters should stay between the yellow markers at the narrow channel and out of marked swimming areas.
